Raphaël Felenbok is an independent advisor and board member working along AgriFood value chains from commodity sourcing to specialty selling. He advises on strategic as well as operational issues and engages in high-impact projects enabled by Sustainability and Technology.
His client portfolio includes corporates (e.g. Mars Wrigley, Tony’s Chocolonely), consultants (e.g. Bain & Company, Deloitte), investors (e.g. aDryada/Ardian, PAI Partners) and innovative solution providers (e.g. Elucid Social, Win-Win).
For two decades, Raphaël worked end-to-end along tropical/smallholder value chains and extensively traveled in the developing world where he was exposed to the realities and complexities of Food Systems (specifically in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Brazil, and Indonesia). He regularly shares his expertise on public platforms and for instance appeared at the World Economic Forum, in The Economist and on Swiss national television.
Raphaël is former Managing Director at Barry Callebaut, industry expert at the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) and founding member of the Swiss Platform for Sustainable Cocoa (SWISSCO). He holds an AgriFood Engineering Master from ISARA and McGill University as well as an MBA from INSEAD.
